Some women choose to switch and select another man on the menu for a very good reason: they find that the last one wasn’t cooked enough and that the new one is tender and in season. And we all know that eating local, fresh food is always the healthiest option. Eating organic is also wise, but unfortunately most men are soaked with pesticides and chemical alterations, which is why that option isn’t available on tonight’s menu.

Perhaps influenced by the landscape that inspires unbounded monotony, no one in this community seems to defy the conventions imposed by the ubiquitous forces of society. Existing as both victims and perpetrators, they seem to fear rejection more than they fear dying from a fatal illness. Cigarettes are inhaled despite the murderous intention clearly roared by their packaging. Alcohol is drunk despite the venomous effects that will empty the drinkers’ pockets at the doctor. People seem to adhere and love exactly that which destroys them, and this alone proves to be the only contradiction the people in this place experience.
